Mondelēz International Publishes 2018 Impact Progress Report
Mondelez International released an impact report prepared in line with its mission to illuminate the future of the industry by designing and producing snacks in the most appropriate way for both people and the planet's future.
According to the report, the company recorded meaningful progress against the Impact Targets it set for 2020, focusing on areas where it will make a broad difference in sustainability and conscious snacking.
The report, which includes the rollout of initiatives Mondelez International implemented by 2020 to create a sustainable footprint on agricultural and ecological issues, also presents the company's targets in its fight against deforestation.
Dirk Van de Put, Chairman and CEO of Mondelez International, stated, "We believe that consumers should not have to choose between snack products and proper nutrition, or worry about the impacts of their snacking choices on the world.
Our company plays an important role in creating a future where people will continue to live in prosperity on this world and in developing our portfolio in a way that inspires conscious snacking habits.
