PASHA Bank Continues Steady Growth

PASHA Bank, which serves as a "financial bridge" in the triangle of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia, continued its strong growth from the first half of the year into the third quarter. Publishing its third-quarter financials, PASHA Bank reached total assets of TRY 10,966 million, growing 27.8% compared to the same period last year.

 

PASHA Bank, which has maintained robust growth year-on-year since beginning operations in Turkey 9 years ago, released its third-quarter financials. Beyond serving as a "financial bridge" for companies seeking to conduct trade and investment in the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia triangle and aiming to expand their business volumes, PASHA Bank also takes on the mission of being a regional guide and strategic solutions partner for these firms. According to its third-quarter financials, the bank reached total assets of TRY 10,966 million, growing 27.8% compared to the same period of the previous year. Growing its own funds by 72.2% year-on-year, PASHA Bank reached TRY 1,698 million in equity. The bank's loan portfolio grew 15.4% year-on-year, and its first nine-month profit materialized at TRY 391.3 million. Providing information about the bank's growth performance, PASHA Bank General Manager H. Cenk Eynehan, stated: "In our strategic period covering 2024-2026, we are prioritizing sustainability and planning to further increase our role in financing trade within the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia triangle. Since 2020, we have carried out TRY 3,808 million in Eurobond issuances, establishing ourselves as one of the sector's leading banks in this regard. Since the beginning of the year, we have facilitated TRY 1,655 million in Eurobond issuances, providing the real sector with access to financing. In the coming period, we will continue to support the real sector by expanding our capital markets transaction volumes. By maintaining our customer-focused approach, we will increase the diversity of financing and products tailored to our customers' needs."

USD 103 million contribution to trade development

Highlighting the importance of the contribution PASHA Bank makes to the development of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia trade, H. Cenk Eynehan stated: "Our bank is the only bank established in Turkey whose principal shareholders are based in Azerbaijan. As part of PASHA Holding, one of Azerbaijan's leading groups, our bank will continue to provide banking products and services to both domestic companies and firms of Azerbaijani and Georgian origin operating in Turkey, drawing on the strength of our shareholders. In our strategic period covering 2024-2026, by prioritizing sustainability and maintaining our customer-focused approach, we will increase the diversity of financing and products tailored to our customers' needs." PASHA Bank's Corporate Governance Compliance rating increased from 9.39 to 9.41 in the corporate governance rating study conducted by SAHA Rating in August this year, and its national credit rating was confirmed as A + (tr) by JCR Eurasia Rating in September.
