Şişecam, a global player in the glass and chemicals sectors operating with more than 24,000 employees across 14 countries, has released its Digital Activity Report titled "Pursuing the Future," which presents its value-creating activities and sustainable future vision. The published digital report includes interviews with Şişecam Board Chairman and Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kırman and Şişecam General Manager Görkem Elverici regarding Şişecam's 2022 activities. These videos detail topics of interest about the company, ranging from its investments and 2023 targets to organizational transformation initiatives, the CareforNext sustainability strategy, and R&D investments. Şişecam successfully concluded 2022 by continuing its sustainable growth journey with its extensive production network spanning 4 continents and 14 countries. In an environment where supply chain, production, and logistics disruptions impacted every sector on a global scale, the company continued to pursue its investments and targets with determination. According to 2022 financial results, Şişecam's consolidated net sales for the fiscal year reached TRY 95.3 billion (USD 5.8 billion), while exports from Turkey amounted to USD 1.1 billion. International sales, which represent the sum of exports from Turkey and sales from production outside Turkey, accounted for 63 percent of consolidated sales.
