Tuğba Şimşek Appointed Quality Assurance and Control Director at DİMES

DIMES, one of Turkey's leading beverage companies, has appointed Tuğba Şimşek to the position of Director of Quality Assurance and Control. Through this appointment, the company continues its strategic steps to strengthen sustainable, traceable and competitive quality infrastructure.

Şimşek brings more than 20 years of operations and leadership experience. Throughout her career, she has held significant responsibilities in Quality, Research and Development, Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance. Before joining DIMES, Şimşek served as Research and Development and Quality Director and Sustainability Leader at Kızılay Gıda ve İçecek, and held various management positions at leading companies including Fersan, Uludağ İçecek, Pınar Su ve İçecek, and Sütaş Grubu. She also gained experience at US-based PharmaCircle.

In her new role at DIMES, Şimşek will be responsible for the company's quality management and continuous improvement processes. In line with the company's vision of becoming an "agriculture-based, value-added global food and beverage brand," sustainable and innovative quality practices will be prioritised under Şimşek's leadership.

Şimşek is a graduate of the Faculty of Science at Middle East Technical University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration at Bahçeşehir University. She also holds certifications including Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor from Boğaziçi University BUYEM + Corporate Communications Association, Six Sigma Black Belt, and ECC Global Mentoring.

Tuğba Şimşek actively serves on national and international business, food, beverage, quality and sustainability platforms including TGDF, NMWE, TÜSİAD, IFU, BPW and TİH.

Şimşek's expertise as she joins DIMES' senior management team is expected to support the company's quality and sustainability objectives and further strengthen brand value.
