'1st Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Workshop' Brings Representatives Together

'1st Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Workshop – Academy and Industry Meeting' was held through cooperation between TÜYAFED Programmers Federation and Istanbul University. The program aims to advance the software sector and address its shortcomings. The '1st Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Workshop – Academy and Industry Meeting' took place in Istanbul through cooperation between TÜYAFED Programmers Federation and Istanbul University. The program brought together representatives from the public sector, NGOs, industry and academia alongside software professionals. The program addressed topics including what needs to be done to develop the software sector and the current state of Turkey's software sector.

TÜYAFED Chair Mustafa Çalış made remarks on the software sector during the program. Stating that they aim to bring the software sector together under one umbrella, Çalış said, "As a federation, we observed that there is no focus in the software field in Turkey. We aim to achieve focus by ensuring sector unity in software. Our artificial intelligence and robotics event was our first initiative. Our purpose here is to bring together academia, industry, public sector, education and NGOs. Through the workshops we will conduct, we will discuss the sector's problems and identify shortcomings. We will support our companies that are sufficient in these areas through a rating system we will establish. We will create opportunities for our companies in terms of exports. Our objective is to ensure sector unity. To achieve this unity, we need to build infrastructure both in Turkey and abroad. We have ongoing efforts to turn focus in the software field into law" he said.
