The 18th İzocam Student Competition on 'Dubai Cultural Village' expects participants to develop ideas for sustainable and climate-balanced architectural design for Dubai, taking into account regional conditions. The project submission deadline is 26 February 2018. İzocam is organising the 18th edition of its Student Competition, which it carries out each year on a different theme with social responsibility in mind. The city in focus for this year's competition is Dubai. The competition, which starts today and is open to university students, will be conducted entirely through the www.izocamogrenciyarismasi.com website. The competition, which will take place in an 'Idea to Project' format, is open to university students studying in all faculties and departments. In the first stage of the two-stage competition, students will be expected to develop ideas for sustainable and climate-balanced architectural design under the heading 'Dubai Cultural Village', taking into account regional conditions, and to materialise these ideas and transform them into preliminary projects. Students can apply through www.izocamogrenciyarismasi.com until 26 February 2018. Successful projects from those submitted will advance to the second stage and will receive feedback from the jury that will help develop their projects. At the open jury meeting to be held on 19 April 2018, successful projects will compete for prizes.
