Abdi Ibrahim Launches Significant Project in Collaboration with YGA
Abdi Ibrahim is bringing a new project to life in cooperation with the non-profit civil society organization Young Guru Academy (YGA), with the vision of "raising science awareness among young people" within the scope of its HEAL2030 sustainability strategy.
Through YGA's "Twin" application, Abdi Ibrahim aims to create science and environmental awareness among children by providing various STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education and training on sustainability, one of today's most critical topics, offering multi-faceted benefits to the adults of tomorrow.
At the same time, through the "Twin" application, the project will reach 1,300 primary and secondary school students from disadvantaged regions and across Turkey, contributing to the development of future scientists.
Recently, Abdi Ibrahim implemented the 'Future Explorers Programme' covering high school students in Turkey in collaboration with the Science Virus social initiative, aimed at achieving the goal of "raising science awareness among young people" under its social investment programmes.
Adding another project to its work under the social objectives section of the HEAL2030 sustainability strategy, Abdi Ibrahim is launching a brand new project covering primary school students.
The project, which will utilize the "TwinApp" application of Young Guru Academy (YGA), a non-profit civil society organization, will be implemented with support from volunteer teams working within Abdi Ibrahim and will continue for 9 months.
Through this project, Abdi Ibrahim aims to create science awareness among our children, who are the guarantee of our future, to build early awareness on sustainability, and to contribute to the development of tomorrow's scientists.
Over 300 pieces of content that make learning fun
The "Twin" application, which enables children to make connections between academic concepts and the real world, aims to teach STEM, an interdisciplinary approach to learning, and sustainability, one of today's most important agenda items, making learning enjoyable. The application contains over 300 do-it-yourself projects, mini games, interactive videos and STEM content prepared in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals to develop children's competencies. Thanks to the interactive features of the application, children can share the experiments they conduct and participate in knowledge contests.Volunteers will participate in the project
The introduction of the "Twin" application, which emerged with the vision of nurturing conscientious individuals capable of designing projects beneficial to humanity and equipped enough to bring their projects to life, allowing us to look to the future with hope, to children through Abdi Ibrahim will take place between October and August. In this project, which aims to reach a total of 1,300 students from various provinces of Turkey at primary and secondary school levels, 72 people working within Abdi Ibrahim will serve as volunteers to monitor students' progress on the panel and assist them.Dr. M.
