Akcoat Continues to Support Education

Akcoat donated 22 computers to Kazımpaşa Primary School to support the education of future scientists and also modernized the school's computer laboratory. Akcoat, which continues to make a difference in society through corporate social responsibility projects and fulfill its responsibilities to local communities, believes in the importance of providing primary school students with access to technological resources and is continuing a project it launched in 2022. Akcoat views the project, which brings students of school age into contact with technology, as part of the company's innovative perspective and its vision of technology and science-focused production. Most recently, Akcoat donated 22 computers to students at Kazımpaşa Primary School in the Serdivan district of Sakarya. Within the scope of the project, Akcoat also renewed the existing computer laboratory and increased its technical capacity. Aiming to strengthen young people's connection with technology and science, Akcoat, believing that education and science are key elements for the progress of society and the business world, will continue to support and invest in all kinds of efforts in this field. At the ceremony attended by Serdivan District Governor Ali Candan, District Director of National Education Ali Dere, and Akcoat Human Resources Director Gonca Yonar, Supply Chain and Information Technologies Director Öznur İskefiyeli, Information Technologies Manager Serdar Yıldırım, Human Resources Manager Sena Özgül, Marketing Manager Gülçin Göktürk and Corporate Communications Manager Batuhan Basalak, the computers were handed over to the students. In his opening remarks, Serdivan District Governor Ali Candan said: "We greatly appreciate such corporate social responsibility projects by organizations in our city. We also commend Akcoat for its continuous support to many schools in our city. We hope that other organizations and individuals will follow this example, reach wider audiences and create positive change overall."

Yonar stated that together with the computer support provided to students, in line with Akcoat's vision of supporting future R&D work and scientists, in the coming periods projects in which students and Akcoat employees come together will be implemented and students interested in chemistry will be hosted at the Akcoat R&D Center. She emphasized the importance of ensuring the continuity of corporate social responsibility projects and noted that they will continue activities aimed at introducing young people to the latest technologies in the early stages of their education.
