Aksa Akrilik, the world leader in acrylic fiber production operating in the chemical sector and Turkey's first and only acrylic fiber manufacturer under Akkök Holding, has added another initiative to its portfolio of projects focused on sustainability and social benefit. The company, which continues to make a difference in society through social responsibility projects and fulfill its obligations with an understanding of equal opportunity and solidarity, is partnering with TOÇEV on the "Equal Opportunities, Warm Tomorrows" project, exemplifying collaboration that brings production capacity together with social benefit.
A solution that transforms innovation power into social benefit
In the production of sweaters, Cotonit yarn was used as a reflection of Aksa Akrilik's vision of transforming its technology and innovation capacity toward a social purpose. Cotonit, a 100 percent acrylic yarn produced at Aksa Akrilik's Aksafil facilities, is preferred in the jersey and circular knitting sectors. The product stands out with its natural feel, low pilling resistance, and long-lasting durability characteristics, and differentiates itself from other yarns in the sector thanks to its soft texture and durability. Additionally, its surface evenness ensures that colors are more vibrant and lasting. Through this collaboration, Aksa Akrilik contributes to children spending winter more warmly and comfortably by offering its technical knowledge accumulated in production for the benefit of society.
This meaningful project, which came to life with TOÇEV's mission to ensure equal opportunity in access to education, provides warm support to children's present and future, while Aksa Akrilik continues to add value to society with its sustainability approach.
