ARCH+DSGN SUMMIT İzmir to Take Place on 26-27 September

Architecture and Design Summit, which attracts intense visitor traffic each year with the participation of architecture and design professionals, will take place on 26-27 September at the Izmir Architecture Center this year under the theme "New/Innovative in Architecture and Design." The third edition held last April under the theme "Future in Architecture and Design" drew considerable interest, and as Turkey's first and only summit bringing together the broadest range of architecture and design disciplines, Arch+Dsgn Summit will host its fourth edition on 26-27 September at the Izmir Architecture Center under the theme "New/Innovative in Architecture and Design," bringing together over 10,000 valued sector professionals from Turkey and abroad in the fields of architecture, interior design, graphic design and industrial product design across all creative industries. Kirsten Lees, London partner at Grimshaw Architects, a renowned architecture firm globally, will serve as keynote speaker. The event will feature panels and conferences with internationally renowned figures in architecture, interior design, graphic design and industrial product design, as well as numerous activities for visitors including workshops, BiKahve Conversations where design professionals informally discuss how they approach design, Pecha Kucha with its dynamic 20-second 20-slide presentation concept that will inspire brainstorming among visitors, and Architecture Meetings where architecture offices meet with experienced brands in their field. The scientific board comprises sector professionals including Doç. Dr. Deniz Dokgöz (Scientific Board Chair), Founding Partner at İkiartıbir Architecture; Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Murat Sönmez, Founder of MRTS Architecture Office; Doç. Barış Atiker; Doç. Dr. Derya Güleç Özer; Doç. Dr. Ferhat Hacıalibeyoğlu, Founding Partner at İkiartıbir Architecture; and Dr. Öğr.
