ASELSAN Receives Awards in Two Different Categories

Defense and technology company ASELSAN won awards in two categories at 'The Stevie Awards for Great Employers', one of the world's most prestigious awards. ASELSAN earned recognition at 'The Stevie Awards for Great Employers' in two categories through social responsibility projects implemented with ASELSAN Sosyal İnovasyon Liderleri Yardımlaşma Derneği (ASİL) and learning and development projects in human resources. 'The Stevie Awards for Great Employers' is recognized as one of the world's largest volunteer organizations, rewarding human resources professionals, teams, achievements, practices and stakeholders of companies that develop and implement human resources projects for employees worldwide.

950 Companies from 29 Countries Competed

In 2021, more than 950 companies from 29 different countries submitted applications to award categories related to human resources practices. Applications were evaluated by an international jury. As a result of the evaluations, ASELSAN earned awards in two different categories at 'The Stevie Awards for Great Employers', one of the world's most prestigious awards. ASELSAN recently also won awards in four categories at Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management (HCM) Excellence Awards for human resources projects implemented to contribute to colleagues. In the spirit of 'development', ASELSAN supported colleagues with training specially designed for the pandemic period. Through the 'Knowledge Sharing Program', one of the outstanding learning and development projects, the aim was to promote the sharing of institutional knowledge and foster a culture of mutual learning. Through this, ASELSAN employees contributed to the personal and professional development of colleagues by developing trainings. With the Learning Management System evaluated by the jury, work conducted on the BİL-GE platform, and learning and development projects implemented in 2020, ASELSAN earned a bronze award in the 'Best Learning / Training Team' category as an organization that learns together with employees, interns and stakeholders. ASİL Derneği, which set out with the motto 'Hope for the future, value for life', was deemed worthy of a bronze award through humanitarian assistance provided during natural disasters since its establishment in 2019, educational support provided to students within the scope of educational opportunity equality, health support provided to patients in need, family support provided to families facing financial difficulties, and projects it has implemented. ASİL Derneği was established in 2019 to demonstrate that ASELSAN is a company that provides value to society in terms of social responsibility, not only in defense and technology.
