TURKCHEM
BASF has announced an increase in foam control agent capacity at its Dilovası plant. The new production line expands the company's on-site capacity, enabling it to better meet rising demand for high-performance Foamaster® and Foamstar® products across Southeast Europe, the Middle East and Africa. By significantly expanding production capacity, BASF is enhancing service to regional customers while reducing delivery times. The new production line also helps BASF reduce emissions from product transportation by significantly shortening distances. The Dilovası facility plays an important role in BASF's additives portfolio and serves as a key supply point for Dispex® AA products, including foam control agents. The recent expansion of the polyacrylic dispersing agent line and the now-increased foam control agent capacity further strengthen the facility's role in BASF's additives market. Joachim Burger, Sales Director EMEA Additives, commented: "This additional capacity at Dilovası enables us to support our customers' growth plans in the region and improve our service level." Ahmet İlker Can, Production Plant Manager at Dilovası, expressed satisfaction that BASF is making a significant contribution to additives production. Tolga Demirözü, General Manager BASF Turkey and Head of Country Group Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia, said: "This capacity increase at our Dilovası production facility reaffirms our commitment to being a reliable partner for our customers." Foam control agents are critical in paints, coatings and ink production, preventing foam formation and providing both production and application benefits. BASF's Foamaster® and Foamstar® products are recognized in the market for their high performance in preventing foam formation.
