BASF Turkish Chemical CEO Buğra Kavuncu Steps Down from His Position at the Company

Buğra Kavuncu, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of BASF Türk Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. since January 2016, has decided to leave his position at the company on 31 March 2018 to pursue a different career path.

We would like to announce that as of 1 April 2018, Rami Atikoğlu will assume the role of General Manager of BASF Türk on an interim basis.

Kavuncu, an entrepreneur and manager with extensive experience in the chemical industry, joined BASF in 2006. Before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of BASF Türk Kimya in January 2016, Kavuncu ran his own business until 2006 and subsequently held various management positions in Europe, the CIS and Turkey.
