Bayer Young Science Ambassadors Bring Science to Hundreds of Children at First Science Festival

Bayer and Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) have launched the Bayer Young Science Ambassadors project, conducted in cooperation to maintain children's interest in science during primary education and encourage them to pursue careers in science. This year, the project held "Science Festivals" for the first time. At the Science Festival held at Istanbul Bağcılar Atatürk Primary School, approximately five hundred children had the opportunity to conduct eight different scientific experiments from the project in the school's garden. A volunteer team of twenty-one members from Bayer Young Science Ambassadors conducted various engaging experiments with the children, including "Dancing Colors in Milk," "Screaming Balloons," and "Can You Float an Egg?" The Bayer Young Science Ambassadors Project has reached more than 36,000 children to date and aims to meet with 5,000 primary-school-age children in 2019. Science Festivals will be held in Ankara, Bolu, Gaziantep, and Izmir respectively.
