Science Will Win with Youth Project Brings High School Students Together with Science in November
The Science Will Win with the Youth Project, which has been running since 2021 under the leadership of the Science Heroes Association with the unconditional support of Pfizer Türkiye, invites high school students to explore different branches of science through online science workshops in the November 2025 period.
With Pfizer Türkiye's unconditional support and under the leadership of Science Heroes Association, the Science Youth Will Win Project, which has been running since 2021, invites high school students to explore different fields of science through interactive workshops in November 2025.
Designed for the 14–18 age group, the program brings young people together with scientists working in basic sciences and engineering. The interactive workshops to be held on 17, 21, 26 and 28 November throughout November will present a wide range of scientific content from archaeology to molecular biology. Students participating in the events will receive a digital participation certificate.

17 November 2025 – Archaeology: Science's Role in Tracing the Past
Scientist: Assoc. Prof. Rana Özbal
Institution: Koç University Department of Archaeology and Art History

This event will address the fundamental concepts of archaeology, current approaches and the transformative power of scientific methods in understanding the past.
21 November 2025 – Metal Materials Used in Biomedicine
Scientist: Dr. Benay Uzer
Institution: İYTE Department of Mechanical Engineering
Time: 18.30
Participants will explore the fundamental areas of biomedical engineering and the properties of metal materials used in this field.
26 November 2025 – Smart Materials: From Baby Diapers to Nanotechnology
Scientist: Assoc. Prof. Pınar Çakır Hatır
Institution: İstinye University Department of Biomedical Engineering
Time: 18.30
This session will explain smart materials used in daily life and offer students a fun experiment they can do at home. The journey to becoming a scientist and the importance of curiosity will also be shared.
28 November 2025 – Journey into the World of Molecular Biology
Scientist: Dr. Atakan Ekiz
Institution: İYTE Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics

Molecular biology laboratory procedures, research methodologies and recent developments in the field will be presented. Career opportunities and inspiring examples of scientific achievement will be shared.

The project, run by Science Heroes Association, aims to increase young people's interest in science, develop scientific thinking skills and support them as creative, responsible global citizens of the future.
