Paint Industry to Meet in Istanbul

The 9th International paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, which will serve as a meeting point for paints and coatings raw-material producers and academics, will be held on 5-6 December 2023 at Green Park Hotel Pendik.

Against the backdrop of shifting global economic balances, the 9th International paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, where the impact of innovative applications in the sector will be discussed, will bring together academics and industry professionals with expertise in the field. Organized by the Paint Manufacturers Association (Bosad) and ChemMedia, the paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress aims to shape the future of the sector through topics such as innovation, sustainability, functionality, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. Congress Programme Adding Colour to the Coatings Sector

The congress programme, which will take place over two days in two separate halls, will begin with a presentation by Mustafa Tunçgenç, a veteran figure in the sector, on "The History and Present of Turkish Coatings Industry". At the congress, where fundamental properties of coatings, sustainability, new raw materials and digitalization will be discussed in detail, there will be 5 invited speakers, including World Coatings Council President Tom Bowtell, 32 oral presentations and 49 poster presentations.
