Büyükekşi Comments on Reduction in VAT Refund Certification Fees

TİM Chairman Mehmet Büyükekşi commented on the reduction in VAT refund certification fees charged by Certified Public Accountants. Noting that this reduction was not minor, ranging between approximately 10% and 35%, TİM Chairman stated: "A large portion of our exporters benefit from Certified Public Accountancy services. The reduction in these fees effectively serves as a direct incentive for us. In this respect, on behalf of our exporters, we extend our thanks to the Ministry of Finance and the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants." Furthermore, stating that they have declared 2018 to be a record year for exports, Büyükekşi said: "Our exports will reach a historic peak this year. The support provided by our government in all areas will continue to be the driving force of our achievements. And we will reach our 2023 targets together." Commenting also on January export figures, TİM Chairman stated: "Our exports this month have started with strong momentum. We will announce our export figures on 2 February. We may see significant increases. In the continuing months of 2018, which we have started strongly, we will break new records."
