Dinçer Lojistik Grows with New Investments in Dilovası

A chemical product storage facility with international standards is being built in Dilovası, a region where the chemical industry operates intensively and where environmental impacts are frequently discussed.

Dinçer Lojistik will operate the depot in question, where activities will be conducted in compliance with standards (SQAS) applied by the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), and the warehouse building constructed for this purpose is being built to meet fire safety and environmental impact assessment standards (NFPA) as applied in the United States. Dinçer Lojistik, which will continue its operations at this facility, is a company that operates in the storage and distribution (ADR) of hazardous chemicals, particularly in the paints and chemical industries, and is frequently mentioned for the specialized services it provides to the chemical sector. Turan Cihanoğlu, Marketing and Sales General Manager Assistant of Dinçer Lojistik, conveyed information that in the Dilovası region, which is strategically positioned due to its proximity to ports and container terminals and is regarded as the capital of the chemical industry, two new facilities with a total capacity of 30,000 pallets are being built on an area of 20,000 m², where activities for storage and preparation for distribution of hazardous chemicals will be carried out. Cihanoğlu stated that one facility is scheduled to begin operations in early 2016 and the other in the first quarter of the year, noting that a very important project is being implemented to enable all logistics processes for hazardous chemical products (ADR) from producers to consumption points to be managed from a single point, in both storage and distribution stages. Noting that in addition to chemical warehouse investments, they have also made significant infrastructure investments in the transportation field, Cihanoğlu indicated that through a TRY 500,000 software project realized in partnership with TÜBİTAK, LA and Dinçer Lojistik, all ADR-related applications and procedures have been integrated into the Road Transportation Software, and the aim is to remove ADR implementations in the Turkish market from manual processes and make them fully traceable through the system, thereby targeting to provide serious solutions to service speed, security issues and operational problems facing the logistics sector.
