Doğuş Teknoloji has opened applications for the Q-Gen Hackathon, inviting young talent to develop quantum computing-focused projects. Launched under the theme "Discover, code, transform," the programme offers participants not only the opportunity to generate ideas but also to develop solutions that will shape future technologies.

Young Professionals to Solve Real-World Problems
The Q-Gen Hackathon, open to university students, master's students and young professionals who graduated within the last two years, invites participants to develop solutions to real-world problems from a quantum computing perspective. The programme, which does not require prior experience in quantum fields, brings together participants from different disciplines to support problem-solving, creative thinking, teamwork and rapid prototyping skills.

As participants develop their projects, they will also consider criteria such as human-centred impact, sustainability and applicability alongside deepening their technical knowledge and expertise.

Applied Experience and Professional Development
The hackathon offers a hybrid experience from the application process through to the final presentation. Selected candidates will work with expert mentors in their field during the preparation phase following an online opening meeting to develop their projects.

In the final stage, teams will present their projects to a jury composed of industry professionals. Beyond the competition itself, the Q-Gen Hackathon aims to provide participants with early-stage experience in quantum computing through mentoring, access to professional networks, internship and career opportunities.

Application and Programme Schedule
Applications for the Q-Gen Hackathon can be submitted via the Doğuş Teknoloji website until 19 April: www.d-teknoloji.com.tr/tr/q-genhackathon

Online opening meeting: 27 April
Final event and jury presentations: 29 April

Successful teams will be supported with prizes, mentoring support and career opportunities.
