Dow Expands Polyurethane Systems Houses Network in India with New Facilities

  Network expansion aimed at further supporting customer growth through customized solutions and technological innovations was determined based on local market needs. Dow Polyurethanes, a business unit of Dow Chemical, announced the opening of a new System House in Maharashtra state in India. With this move, Dow has further expanded its strong production, development and technical service network currently operating at 20 different locations across the EMEAI region. The new facility established in the Parshuram industrial zone in Ratnagiri Lote, Maharashtra state, provides additional production capacity and technical capabilities in delivering high-quality polyurethane materials and customized solutions to customers in the region, while serving growing markets such as durable consumer goods, infrastructure and automotive. Following the Dow India Technology Centre (DITC) in Navi Mumbai, which recently commissioned a polyurethane applications development laboratory to support acceleration of innovation and collaboration with customers, the opening of the new System House in Lote takes Dow's investments in the region further.
