Dr. Suna Avcıl Appointed as Medical Director of Amgen Türkiye

Amgen Turkey, one of the largest investors in Turkey's pharmaceutical sector, continues to strengthen its management team. Most recently, Dr. Suna Avcıl has assumed the position of Medical Director responsible for Amgen and Mustafa Nevzat İlaç at Amgen Turkey, which includes successful sector leaders in senior management roles. Amgen, one of the companies that has made the most direct investment in Turkey in recent years, continues to strengthen its Turkey operations. Amgen Turkey recently reinforced its sector position by bringing Dr. Suna Avcıl, who has more than 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, into its senior management team. Dr. Suna Avcıl, who served as Senior Medical Director at Lilly İlaç, has assumed her position as Medical Director of Amgen Turkey. In her new role, Dr. Avcıl will be responsible for both Amgen and Mustafa Nevzat İlaç. Dr. Suna Avcıl, who graduated from Hacettepe School of Medicine in 1995, subsequently held Product Manager positions at Bilim İlaç, Abdi İbrahim and Boehringer Ingelheim. She then transferred to Lilly İlaç as Product Manager. During her 16-year career at Lilly İlaç, where she took on international assignments covering Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Dr. Suna Avcıl held important positions including Marketing Manager, Human Resources Director, Senior Medical and Regulatory Director, and most recently served as Senior Medical Director.
