EİB posts USD 1.33 billion in exports
Aegean Exporters Associations (EİB) achieved USD 1.329 billion in exports in June with a 17 percent decline.
EİB shared its June data. According to the figures released, EİB's exports for the January-June period of 2024 reached USD 9.021 billion, while exports over the last 12 months advanced to USD 18.077 billion. For June overall, exports totalled USD 1.329 billion, representing a 17 percent decline.
Aegean Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association maintained its leading position with USD 181 million in exports. Aegean Aquatic Products and Animal Products Exporters Association came second with USD 121 million in foreign currency earnings, followed by Aegean Ready-Made Garments and Apparel Exporters Association with USD 101 million in exports.
Aegean Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Exporters Association achieved USD 97 million in exports in June with a 4 percent increase. Aegean Mining Exporters Association rose to USD 91 million with a 2 percent increase. Aegean Tobacco Exporters Association increased its exports to USD 80 million with a 6 percent increase.
Aegean Cereals, Legumes, Oilseeds and Products Exporters Association achieved USD 67 million in exports with a 9 percent increase, while Aegean Olives and Olive Oil Exporters Association recorded USD 63 million in exports.
Aegean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters Association achieved USD 60 million in exports in June, and Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters Association achieved USD 55 million in exports. Textiles and Raw Materials Exporters Association earned USD 24 million for Turkey in June, while Aegean Leather and Leather Products Exporters Association succeeded in bringing in USD 11 million.
