İçim Süt Boosts Production and Export Capacity with New Investment in Tire

Implementing consecutive investments across multiple areas—from sustainability to capacity increases, from efficiency to innovative product development—İçim Süt has now inaugurated its new Spray Drying facility at its Tire plant in İzmir. With the facility transitioning to full-capacity production, İçim Süt will increase its product volume for both the domestic market and exports.

İçim Süt, which produces Turkey's highest volume of milk and milk products and is the sector's largest producer with 5 factories, is bringing its new Spray Drying facility investment to life at its Tire plant. The facility will produce whey powder and milk powder in compliance with European Union and Turkish Food Codex food safety and quality standards. Production capacity, previously 1 ton per hour, will be increased to 2.5 tons.

Speaking at the facility's opening ceremony, İçim Süt CEO Ali Sözen stated: "This strategic investment will not only increase our production volume; it will also elevate product safety, traceability, and production efficiency in line with our quality commitments. With this investment, one of the highest-capacity drying facilities in the region, we will significantly increase our product volume for both the domestic market and exports. We aim, in particular, to successfully complete export approval processes for many countries, especially the European Union, with the support of this facility."

Thanks to systems designed in line with İçim Süt's environmental sustainability vision, the facility will also provide higher energy and water efficiency.
