Chemical sector unites; Adil Pelister elected new chairman of İKMİB

Elections concluded at İKMİB, the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association. Adil Pelister, Chairman of the Board at BETA Kimya, secured 613 of the 1,154 valid votes cast by 1,273 delegates, winning the position of new chairman of İKMİB. Under the slogan "We Are Stronger Together," Adil Pelister pledged to become the single voice of chemistry across all subsectors and will add value to the chemical industry through five flagship projects. Pelister and his management team committed to delivering lasting solutions to exporters' problems, including lowering the green passport threshold to USD 100,000, improving exporters' access to financing, and launching innovative projects such as the Digital Trade Platform, positioning the chemical sector as second in exports. In the İKMİB elections held with strong participation, Adil Pelister, Chairman of the Board at BETA Kimya, who secured 613 votes, became the new chairman of İKMİB. Adil Pelister and his board of directors, aiming for a breakthrough in the chemical sector through visionary projects, indicated that a new era has begun at İKMİB with a fair, transparent, and active management approach. İKMİB Chairman Adil Pelister stated that he will work with a management board comprising leading figures in the chemical sector to elevate Turkish chemical industry to the highest level on the world stage: "We will revisit all export-related issues in our chemical sector and eliminate obstacles facing our exporters one by one through our lasting solutions. We will carry our association into the future with the innovative projects our sector requires. We will initiate a new era of added value to the chemical sector by standing united with all our subsectors as a single body. With the strength we gain from the past, we will collectively build the future of our exporters. We will be a fair, transparent, and above all active management. With a management approach that listens to everyone, where ideas compete and we unite as a single voice through collective wisdom, we will realize flagship projects that will drive breakthroughs in our sector.
