Kordsa's All Stars Awards Presented for the 12th Time
Kordsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, presents its 12th annual All Stars Awards recognizing outstanding facilities, successful projects and employees
Kordsa, a leader in tire, construction reinforcement and composite technologies with innovation at the center of all its operations, held its internal recognition programme All Stars Awards for the 12th time on 20 April. The annual awards system was launched to acknowledge and promote improvement and innovation initiatives within the company and to inspire and encourage other employees. The ceremony took place at Kordsa's facility in İzmit with live connections to its operations in the United States, Brazil, Thailand and Indonesia. An employee from Kordsa's Indonesian operation traveled to Turkey to present this year's All Stars Awards ceremony. The competition drew 129 projects and 1,163 nominees. As in previous years, facilities across Kordsa's sites won awards for cost improvement, best financial performance and best occupational safety performance.Individual awards recognized projects from Kordsa employees in the categories of innovation approach, best progress, best project team, global synergy, cost projects, commercial patent approval and TPM initiatives. Speaking at the ceremony opening, Kordsa CEO Ali Çalışkan reflected on the company's 2017 achievements, investments, newly developed technologies and collaborations, extending thanks to all Kordsa employees for their contributions and dedication. Çalışkan highlighted how the All Stars Awards, presented since 2006, underscore Kordsa's contribution to establishing itself as a continuously self-renewing organization that pushes boundaries and serves as a pioneer and model globally, addressing employees as follows: "We come from a strong institutional culture based on innovation and always pursuing excellence.
