Istanbul Launch Held for Architectural Solutions Event Series

Saint-Gobain continues to bring together founders and founding partners of Turkey's leading architecture firms under the banner of "Saint-Gobain Architectural Solutions" in Turkey.

Saint-Gobain Türkiye, operating in Turkey with 14 brands including Weber, Vetrotech, Ecophone, Saint-Gobain Glass, PAM, Chryso, and Saint-Gobain Abrasives, with İzocam and Dalsan among its subsidiaries, held the third launch of its "Saint-Gobain Architectural Solutions" event series for sustainable construction. The Istanbul launch took place at the historic Pera Palas, marking Turkey's 100th anniversary.

Through these events, Saint-Gobain Türkiye brings together Turkey's leading architects to present lightweight construction solutions as an alternative to heavy construction processes, utilizing fewer natural resources, constructed in shorter timeframes, addressing renovation of public and private buildings, lightweight construction and decarbonization of the construction industry, and providing solutions that meet people's comfort needs in daily life.

Following the opening, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı and accomplished writer Şermin Yaşar took the stage as guest speakers, discussing developments in Turkey's first century as a republic.

They conducted an engaging conversation, viewing from a different perspective the question of how to preserve the historical fabric of sustainable cities to be built in Turkey's second century as a republic.
