Robatech Invests in New Facility to Strengthen Its Presence in Turkey

Robatech, a global leader in industrial adhesive application machines and equipment headquartered in Switzerland, has announced a significant investment in Turkey to strengthen both local and global growth objectives.

Taking the decision to invest in Turkey in such an important year is a natural outcome of the expertise, experience and sustainable growth strategy our company has gained over the past 50 years. This step is also a clear indication of Robatech headquarters' confidence in both the Turkish economy and the Robatech Turkey team.

Strengthening Our Presence in Turkey
The progress we have made during our 29-year presence in Turkey has prepared us to take important steps in line with our future objectives. This investment will not only strengthen our commitment to providing high-quality products and technical services in Turkey, but will also further solidify Robatech's position in local, regional and global markets.

Strategic Location for Future Growth
Our new facility will be located in the Alikahya Organized Industrial Zone in İzmit district of Kocaeli, which holds critical importance for Turkey's industrial development. This region offers strategic advantages with its transportation facilities, industrial infrastructure and commercial vitality. This location will enable us to optimize our operational and logistical processes and provide more efficient service to our customers.

Project Scope and Timeline
The total investment amount for the project is TRY 275 million, and this investment will not only support our company's growth; it will also contribute to the local economy by creating new employment opportunities for contractors and suppliers in the region. Construction is planned to be completed within 12 months, with operations to commence by the end of March 2026.

The facility will be designed to meet modern operational and service requirements and will have a total of 4,700 m² enclosed space and 1,400 m² outdoor area. Of these areas, 600 m² will be used for technical service and maintenance, and 600 m² for storage. This arrangement will provide more efficient operations and offer a better working environment for our employees.

Developing Our Technical Service and R&D Capacity
With our advanced 600 m² technical service area, we will carry out rapid and effective maintenance and repair operations; thus continuing to provide our customers with the highest quality service.

Additionally, our new facility will house a demonstration and R&D center. In this center, application tests will be conducted to support the development of new projects. Meeting and seminar halls will also be used for industry-related events, training and seminars. Thanks to these spacious and modern areas, our relationships with our customers, team and business partners will be further strengthened.

LEED Certification, Solar Energy and Sustainable Technologies
Our new building will be designed to incorporate the most advanced environmentally friendly solutions. In line with our commitment to sustainability, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is targeted for this facility. This certification will demonstrate the importance we place on energy efficiency and the use of environmentally friendly materials; it will contribute to reducing energy and water consumption.

The facility will be built with priority given to sustainable energy solutions such as solar energy systems. Through this, the building's energy needs will be largely self-sufficient, energy efficiency will increase, and the environmental carbon footprint will be reduced.
