Schneider Electric’s Experienced Employee Program Selected as Best Practice by the WEF

Global energy technology company Schneider Electric announced that its global career program developed for experienced employees has been selected as a best-practice case under the Future of Inclusion Lighthouse Programme run by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Global energy technology company Schneider Electric announced that its global career program developed for experienced employees has been selected as an exemplary practice under the Future of Inclusion Lighthouse Program conducted by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The company's program for employees at advanced career stages supports access to development opportunities in line with employee career goals and expectations, while also enabling transitions between different career paths.

Support at Every Career Stage
The program, launched by Schneider Electric in 2021, was developed as part of the company's Human Strategy. The program aims to provide employees access to support mechanisms they need during different phases of their professional lives.

Within this framework, employees can benefit from different career options such as taking on greater responsibility, specializing in their current roles, transitioning to different positions, participating in mentoring activities, or preparing for retirement.

By combining a global framework with local implementations, the company evaluates employees under four different profiles: Accelerate, Continue, Pivot and Transition.

Contribution to Employee Engagement and Career Development
Under the program, employees are offered reskilling, knowledge transfer, mutual mentoring, coaching, flexible work models and post-retirement collaboration opportunities.

According to company data, as of 2025, 93% of employees at advanced career stages work in countries where career development support is available. Since the program's implementation began, increases have been recorded in employee engagement and career development conversations.

"A Powerful Source of Experience, Innovation and Resilience"
Schneider Electric's Chief Human Resources Officer Charise Le expressed satisfaction with the program being highlighted as an example by the World Economic Forum.

Le noted that experience is an important driver of innovation, resilience and inclusion, and stated that supporting employees in shaping new stages of their careers creates value for both employees and the company.

Age Inclusivity Among Strategic Priorities
Schneider Electric positions the initiative as part of its Sustainability Impact 2030 strategy. The company considers age inclusivity as one of the important elements of long-term sustainability goals, while regularly monitors program performance in line with established indicators.

The Future of Inclusion Lighthouse Program conducted by the World Economic Forum aims to identify practices that produce concrete results in inclusion across different sectors and to scale these examples globally.
