Esra Pınar Appointed as Human Resources Director of Takeda Türkiye

Takeda Türkiye, which is featured on Great Place to Work® Türkiye's "Best Employers" list, continues to strengthen its leadership team with new appointments. As part of this effort, Esra Pınar has been appointed Human Resources Director of Takeda Türkiye. Pınar, who has held the position in an acting capacity since May 2025, took on the role permanently as of 1 October 2025 and will continue her responsibilities on the Takeda Türkiye Leadership Team.
Takeda Turkey, which is listed among Great Place to Work® Turkey's "Best Employers," continues to strengthen its leadership team with new appointments. In this context, Esra Pınar has been appointed to the position of Human Resources Director at Takeda Turkey. Since May 2025, Pınar has been serving in this role on an acting basis and, as of 1 October 2025, has assumed the position on a permanent basis. She will continue to fulfill her responsibilities within the Takeda Turkey Leadership Team.
With over 17 years of experience in human resources and organizational transformation in global companies, Esra Pınar is known for her human-centered leadership approach, agile business models and innovative HR practices. Throughout her career, she has led numerous transformations including manufacturing transition processes, company merger and acquisition integrations, building HR functions from scratch, digital transformation projects and compensation and benefits strategies.
Pınar began her human resources career in the technology sector and subsequently held various HR leadership roles in global organizations in healthcare and chemical sectors. Joining Takeda Turkey in 2019, Pınar has pioneered practices in cultural transformation, employee engagement, talent management, compensation and benefits, and digital HR processes. Her success in integrating Takeda values into business processes has been recognized through Takeda Values Awards and General Manager Special Awards received over the past five years.
In her new position, Esra Pınar aims to lead Takeda Turkey's human resources strategy and accelerate transformation in the areas of corporate culture, compliance, talent development and future readiness.
Esra Pınar is a graduate of Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration. She is also a certified HR professional in internationally recognized leadership and personality assessment tools.
