Bilal Bedir Appointed Secretary General of TİM

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) appointed Bilal Bedir as its new Secretary General. Bedir previously held various positions at TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation), including Deputy Director, Head of TRT World's England Office, and Head of the Advertising Department. Most recently, he served as Deputy General Manager responsible for support units at Export Development Inc. (İGE A.Ş.).  

Who is Bilal Bedir?

Born in Istanbul in 1984, Bedir graduated from Boğaziçi University's Business Administration department in 2007 and began his career as a Sales Representative at Reckitt Benckiser. After serving in various management positions at the same company, he joined TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) in 2015 as Deputy Director. Between 2016 and 2017, he worked as Head of TRT World's England Office in London. He then returned to Istanbul and served as Head of the Advertising Department at TRT during the 2020-2021 period. Most recently, Bedir worked as Deputy General Manager responsible for support units at Export Development Inc. He has proficient English, intermediate Arabic and German language skills. He is married with three children.
