Turkey's Growing Polyurethane Market Meets the World at Putech Eurasia 2025

Polyurethane technologies, a core material for many critical industries such as automotive, white goods, construction, furniture, textiles, packaging, energy efficiency and mobility solutions, are becoming one of the most strategic areas of Turkish industry by forming a broad production ecosystem.

Polyurethane technologies, a fundamental material for many critical industries such as automotive, white goods, construction, furniture, textiles, packaging, energy efficiency and mobility solutions, is becoming one of the most strategic sectors in Turkish industry by forming a broad production ecosystem.

However; polyurethane, adhesive technologies, composite raw materials and technical foam systems form a mutually complementary structure in nearly all production areas of modern industry. Adhesives; from automotive to white goods, from furniture to construction, are indispensable components of products that provide durability, lightness and efficiency across a wide spectrum. Composites have become a strategically important production area globally with the development of both polyester and resin technologies. In particular, carbon fiber reinforced composites play a critical role today in high-technology sectors such as aircraft, automobiles and wind turbines in terms of performance, lightness and safety. For this reason, the convergence of four areas under a single roof reflects a holistic ecosystem that directly corresponds to the industry's actual production flow and material relationships.
Artkim Fuarcılık aims to bring these four areas together on a simultaneous platform rather than separate fairs, thereby providing a powerful synergy area for both visitors and producers.

In line with this objective, PUTECH EURASIA 2025, held for the 9th time this year, simultaneously with the 7th edition of the International Composite Raw Materials (Eurasian Composites Show), the 3rd organization of the Adhesive and Adhesive Technologies Fair (Adhesive Bonding Eurasia) and the 3rd edition of the Technical Foam Industry and Technologies Fair (Foam Eurasia) held this year, Artkim Fuarcılık continued to monitor the pulse of the global market.

The fair, attended by 7,060 professional visitors from 83 countries and 245 companies, hosted three days of intensive business meetings, international procurement delegations, new product launches and R&D-focused collaborations. The fair's scope was further expanded this year with sustainable production, advanced materials technologies, recycling-focused solutions and circular economy applications, elevating it above global standards.

POLYURETHANE, A STRATEGIC DRIVING FORCE OF MODERN INDUSTRY
The panels and technical presentations held throughout the fair once again demonstrated that polyurethane is no longer merely a material; but rather an invisible, indispensable and strategic building block of modern industry. Polyurethane solutions offering high performance, lightness, durability and energy efficiency across many industries—from automotive to energy technologies, from healthcare products to insulation systems—were among the most heavily attended topics of the fair.

"PUTECH EURASIA IS NOW A MULTINATIONAL TRADE NETWORK"
Ahmet Güler, Founder Chairman of Artkim Group, drawing attention to the rapid growth of the sector in Turkey, stated: "Polyurethane is no longer just a material; it is the building block of industrial transformation. This year at PUTECH EURASIA, sustainable production solutions, recyclable systems and environmentally friendly raw material alternatives were in focus. Throughout the fair, professional visitors had the opportunity to examine not only new technologies but also the roadmap for a greener industry up close. In 2023, we achieved significant success by hosting professionals from 63 different countries. In the 2025 edition, we further increased international participation and witnessed global interest once again. In previous years' visitor distribution, Europe represented 28%, Asia 26%, Middle East 32% and Africa 13%; this distribution is one of the most concrete indicators of PUTECH EURASIA's transformation into a multinational trade network. Similarly this year, new collaboration and business development opportunities from sectors professionals from different geographies were successfully realized throughout the fair."

PUTECH EURASIA ONCE AGAIN DEMONSTRATED TURKEY'S RISE IN THE POLYURETHANE INDUSTRY
In his assessments regarding the visitor geography of the fair, Güler stated: "The international visitor profile we hosted at PUTECH EURASIA 2025 this year shows how wide a geography the sector resonates across. Visitor distribution took place predominantly in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa regions. This distribution is one of the most concrete indicators that Turkey has become a regional production and technology center in the polyurethane sector. This rapid and steady rise demonstrates that Turkey has strengthened its production capacity, increased its export potential, raised international investor interest and experienced significant transformation in polyurethane-based product diversity."

YOUNG ENGINEERS' RACING VEHICLES ATTRACTED SIGNIFICANT ATTENTION
One of the most attention-grabbing sections of the fair was young engineering teams showcasing race vehicles developed with polyurethane-based modern composite materials. Polyurethane used in the vehicles' body and critical points significantly enhanced vehicle performance with its lightness, high form strength, impact and vibration-dampening properties. While these projects demonstrated why polyurethane plays such a critical role in modern mobility projects, they combined with young engineers' innovative approaches to present an important technology vision for the future of the sector.

STRATEGIC MEETING POINT OF GLOBAL POLYURETHANE INDUSTRY
PUTECH EURASIA 2025 concluded with international procurement delegations, new supply agreements, technical presentations, R&D collaborations and sessions shaping the sector's sustainability objectives.
In conferences attended by leading representatives of the sector; insulation systems providing high energy efficiency, the role of polyurethane-based sandwich panels in sustainable building solutions, innovative acoustic insulation systems providing interior comfort in vehicles and environmentally friendly adhesive systems were among the many important topics addressed.

Thanks to Artkim Group's extensive international representation network, the visitor profile spanning from Europe to Asia, from the Middle East to Africa once again demonstrated that PUTECH EURASIA is not merely a fair; but has become the strategic center of the global polyurethane ecosystem.
PUTECH EURASIA 2025 successfully concluded as a comprehensive platform where innovations in the sector, global competition, advanced materials technologies and sustainable industrial transformation were discussed. The next edition of PUTECH EURASIA 2027, to be held on 24–26 November 2027, aims to further expand its international reach.
