Artkim Group brings Turkchem brand to Azerbaijan. Turkchem Azerbaijan 2027 will bring together the chemical sectors of the Caucasus and Central Asia, led by Turkey and Azerbaijan, in Baku.

Trade in chemicals and chemical substances between Turkey and Azerbaijan continues to grow. Azerbaijan's imports of chemicals and chemical substances from Turkey reached USD 536.6 million in 2025, while in the first half of 2026 it reached USD 268.3 million with a 3.3% increase.

Rising trade volume, industrial investments in the region, and Azerbaijan's strategic position as a gateway to Caucasus and Central Asian markets make the country an important market for the Turkish chemical sector. Building on this potential, Artkim Group is bringing Turkchem, one of Eurasia's established chemical fair brands, to Azerbaijan.

Turkchem Azerbaijan 2027, to be held following the 11th TURKCHEM EXPO Eurasia scheduled for 25–27 November 2026 at Istanbul Fair Center, will bring sector professionals together at Baku Fair Center on 6–8 April 2027.

The organization, to be held with support from AZPROMO, Azerbaijan's official investment and export development agency, aims to develop new trade, investment and technology partnerships between Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Azerbaijan's chemical industry is becoming a regional production hub
At a time when global supply chains are being reshaped, production centers are diversifying, and the Middle Corridor's importance in international trade is increasing, Azerbaijan is becoming one of the region's leading production and investment centers in terms of chemical and petrochemical investments.

Distinguished by strong energy infrastructure, growing industrial investments, raw material resources and investment incentives, Azerbaijan attracts international investors through its strategic position providing access to a market of approximately 300 million encompassing Turkey, the Caucasus, the Caspian Basin and Central Asia.

Sumgayit Chemical Industry Park, one of the important building blocks of this transformation, today hosts 39 investors. Investment commitments in the park exceed 6 billion manats, with realized investment amounts exceeding 5.5 billion manats, while providing employment to over 6,200 people. Products manufactured in the park are exported to more than 70 countries.

The developing investment ecosystem, together with Alat Free Economic Zone, supports Azerbaijan's goal of becoming a regional production and export center.

Turkchem Azerbaijan will be a new meeting point for regional trade
Turkchem Azerbaijan 2027, launched on the basis of Azerbaijan's developing chemical and petrochemical infrastructure, aims to bring together different players in the chemical sector in Baku.

The organization will bring together:

Chemical raw material and product manufacturers,
Petrochemical companies,
Specialty chemical manufacturers,
Distributors,
Laboratory technology and equipment manufacturers,
Process equipment and production technology providers,
Investors,
Procurement professionals and
Sector decision-makers

under one roof.

Turkchem Azerbaijan, covering chemicals, petrochemical products, specialty chemicals, laboratory technologies, process equipment and production technologies, will offer participants new trade and investment opportunities through international conferences, Turkchem Stage sessions and planned B2B business meetings.

The organization aims to go beyond being a chemical fair where products are displayed, creating an important platform for knowledge sharing, technology transfer, new business connections and regional business development.

A new step in Turkchem's international growth journey
Artkim Group Founder and CEO Ahmet Güler stated that Turkchem Azerbaijan will contribute not only to commercial relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan but also to regional technology and investment partnerships.

Güler made the following assessment:
"For years, Turkchem has been one of the most important meetings of the chemical sector in Turkey, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, investors and sector professionals. Azerbaijan has also gained significant momentum in chemical and petrochemical investments in recent years. Due to its strong commercial relations with Turkey, developing industrial infrastructure and strategic position as a gateway to Caucasus and Central Asian markets, we chose to take the first step of Turkchem's international growth journey in Azerbaijan."

Güler stated that they will transfer the sector ecosystem that Turkchem has created in Turkey to Azerbaijan, expressing their belief that Turkchem Azerbaijan will contribute to the creation of new investment opportunities and the development of regional partnerships.

Baku will be a gateway to Caucasus and Central Asian markets
Pointing to the strategic importance of Baku's location for regional trade, Ahmet Güler said Turkchem Azerbaijan will support the fair experience with business development-focused events.

Güler continued as follows:
"Baku, with its strategic location providing access to Caucasus, Caspian Basin and Central Asian markets, is an important trade and investment center for international companies. Turkchem Azerbaijan will support the fair experience with international conferences, Turkchem Stage sessions and planned B2B meetings, offering participants a comprehensive sector meeting focused on business development. With this step, we aim to expand Turkchem's international reach while bringing Turkey's chemical sector to new markets."

Artkim Group, in line with its international exhibition vision, continues to bring Turkey's chemical sector together with new markets, and Turkchem Azerbaijan 2027 is aimed at strengthening economic relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, increasing regional trade volume and contributing to the establishment of new business partnerships in the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Turkchem Azerbaijan is intended to become an important trade and business development platform at the regional level for companies operating in the chemical and petrochemical sectors, as well as in the areas of raw materials, production technologies, laboratory equipment and process solutions.
