Senior Appointment at Allianz Türkiye
Emrah Gökmen, Director of Health Insurance, has been appointed Deputy General Manager of Elementary Individual Insurance. Gökmen, who took up his new role on 1 January, will continue serving as a member of the Executive Board under Allianz Türkiye.
Emrah Gökmen, Health Insurance Director, has been appointed to the position of Deputy General Manager of Elementary Individual Insurance at Elementer Bireysel Sigortalar. Starting 1 January, Gökmen will assume his new role and continue to serve as a Member of the Executive Board under the Allianz Turkey umbrella.
Allianz Turkey made a senior-level appointment at the start of the new year. Emrah Gökmen has been appointed to the position of Deputy General Manager of Elementary Individual Insurance, one of the company's strategic functions. Gökmen, who has served as Head of Health Insurance Product and Actuarial Group and Health Insurance Director within Allianz Turkey since 2018, will assume the position of Deputy General Manager of Elementary Individual Insurance and simultaneously serve as a Member of the Executive Board starting 1 January. In his new role, Gökmen will lead the elementary individual insurance segment.
Emrah Gökmen graduated from the English Mathematics Department of Dokuz Eylül University and completed his master's program in Actuarial Science at Bahçeşehir University. Beginning his career as a Reinsurance Research and Development Specialist, Gökmen took on the role of Retail Product and Pricing Manager within Allianz. He later continued his career at a global software and consulting company as Non-Life Insurance, Sales and Implementation Leader, and has served as Health Insurance Director at Allianz Turkey since 2018.
