Elçin Uzun, who has over 20 years of experience in the sector, has been appointed to the position of Human Resources Director at Gilead Sciences Türkiye, which has been operating in Türkiye since 2007 Elçin Uzun has been appointed Human Resources Director at Gilead Sciences Türkiye, the science company operating in 38 countries worldwide. Joining the Gilead Sciences Türkiye team, which for 33 years has been a leading innovative pharmaceutical company advancing treatment, prevention, access to treatment at every level, and new treatment research in the HIV field, Uzun commenced his new position as of March. Elçin Uzun began his career in 1999 at DHL Worldwide Express, holding positions in various areas of human resources including recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, talent management, performance management, change management, organizational development, and talent management. Uzun, who has held management positions at companies such as Vodafone, Borusan, and UCB Pharma, led the integration between MSD and Schering Plough upon joining MSD in 2009, as well as the transformation process of the Performance Management System in the newly established company. Most recently serving as Human Resources Director at Deloitte Türkiye, Elçin Uzun led all human resources processes for the company's Türkiye operations. Throughout his career, having taken on responsibilities across many different sectors, Elçin Uzun has over 20 years of experience in the human resources field. Elçin Uzun, who studied Sociology at Mimar Sinan University, serves as a Mentor on the Türkiye Professional Women Network platform and as Co-Chair of the working group.
