IMCD N.V Appoints New Turkey General Manager

IMCD N.V. ("IMCD" or the "Company"), a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and food additives, is proud to announce the appointment of Aylin Zakuto as General Manager of Turkey, effective 1 June 2020.   Aylin Zakuto will be responsible for leading the strategic growth of IMCD Turkey, ensuring the continuity of the company's strong market position, and maintaining trust-based relationships with business partners and customers. Aylin Zakuto will operate from the Istanbul office and reports to Chief Executive Officer Piet van der Slikke. Aylin Zakuto, a Turkish citizen, joined IMCD in 2008 as Pharmaceutical Technical Sales Product Manager. In 2009 she moved to the position of Life Sciences Division Manager, where she successfully drove growth in the pharmaceutical, personal care, household/industrial/institutional cleaning products and textile markets. From 2017 onwards, she was appointed International Product Manager (IPM), managing global strategic suppliers. Aylin Zakuto graduated from Boğaziçi and Marmara Universities in Istanbul with a degree in Chemistry and a master's degree in Organic Polymer Chemistry.
