Pierre Fabre Appoints Marketing and Business Development Director in Turkey

As part of Pierre Fabre's new organizational restructuring in Turkey's pharmaceutical and dermocosmetics sector, Canan Akyurt was appointed to the position of Marketing and Business Development Director, responsible for sales force effectiveness, training, external communications, digital and marketing functions of the Basic Products and Dermocosmetics groups, effective 18 August 2020. As part of Pierre Fabre's new organizational restructuring in Turkey's pharmaceutical and dermocosmetics sector, Canan Akyurt was appointed to the position of Marketing and Business Development Director. Canan Akyurt brings 21 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. A graduate of Ankara University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, she began her career in 1999 as a Medical Sales Representative at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, subsequently serving as Regional Director. In 2009, Akyurt took on the role of Regional Sales Director at Pfizer Turkey. She continued her career at Takeda Pharmaceuticals Turkey, holding the positions of Regional Sales Director, National Sales Director, and Commercial Director successively. Akyurt joined Pierre Fabre Turkey's organization in 2018, most recently serving as Business Excellence Manager.
