Nitrex delivers two new furnaces for Capi Group
Capi Group expanded its nitriding/nitrocarburizing capacity to meet orders from the industrial and automotive sectors and rising production demands.
The Italian gear manufacturer recently ordered two nitriding systems of Nitrex size. Capi has been using Nitrex systems since 2018.
"Our latest purchase is the result of years of cooperation and mutual trust. Marcin Stokłosa, project manager at Nitrex, stated: "Capi Group has demonstrated confidence in our systems and process technologies, as well as our quality guarantee and after-sales technical support services that meet the need to maximize the service life, reliability and performance of gear machines.
This new order is part of our ongoing cooperation and we look forward to strengthening our partnership further" he said.
Following this latest purchase, Capi Group now operates four NX-1230 batch nitriding/nitrocarburizing furnaces of the same model and dimensions, with a load capacity of 11,570 pounds (5,250 kg) and guaranteed stable performance using Nitreg® and Nitreg®-C technologies.
With the addition of accelerated cooling technology, this model shortens the cooling period, enabling faster product delivery.
The NX furnace design guarantees +/-3° temperature homogeneity in the autoclave. The environmentally friendly IN-500 exhaust neutralizer helps ensure clean and green operation.
The new Nitrex furnaces, which comply with aerospace material specifications (AMS) codes 2750 for pyrometry and 2759/10 for controlled nitriding, were integrated into the production line and connected to a closed-loop water cooling system.
The closed-loop cooling system features an environmentally friendly characteristic that cools furnace elements by providing regular cold water circulation.
The new systems have been operational for several months.
