PPG Launches Specialized Coating System for Aviation Market PPG announced the first launch of the innovative PPG BOUNDLESS™ CA6500 series topcoats designed for the general aviation market in the United States and Canada. Designed specifically for light aircraft and helicopters, the series consists of low volatile organic compound (VOC) polyurethane coatings formulated to deliver excellent durability, performance and appearance properties with minimal regulated VOC and volatile hazardous air pollutant (VoHAPS) emissions. From color matching and custom batch sizes to flawless delivery, application and appearance, the polyurethane polishable topcoats offer an innovative solution with aviation-class performance. Although targeted at light aircraft, PPG Boundless CA6500 topcoats are compatible with commercial, general aviation and military aviation epoxy primers and sanded surfaces.
