RHI Magnesita Acquires Seven Refractories

RHI Magnesita announced completion of the acquisition of Seven Refractories. Seven Refractories is a specialist supplier of alumina refractory mixtures serving customers in the iron and steel, cement, aluminium and non-ferrous metals industries, with a proven track record of stable growth in these sectors. Alumina refractory mixtures are expected to become increasingly important in the development of new low CO2 emission production technologies in RHI Magnesita's key customer sectors. With the acquisition, approximately 240 employees working at three production facilities in Slovenia, India and the USA, and sales offices and service centres in Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and Cyprus have joined RHI Magnesita's global network.
