Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix expands its range of concrete additives

Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix announced that it has acquired the sales activities of MPG Solutions related to Cemfloor® cement-based screeds and Chryso® concrete admixtures. Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix is strengthening its position in the flooring market as a manufacturer and supplier of cement-based screeds for residential and commercial construction. A dedicated Chryso team of specialists will manage sales relationships with concrete industries and customers, supporting them in their transition to decarbonization. Long-standing partner MPG Solutions will facilitate the handover and will continue to manage the logistics side of the business for now.       Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix now offers Weber Cemfloor®, a high-quality liquid screed made from functional cement-based binders, in addition to the already well-known and established Weber liquid sand cement screed (VZC®).   Weber Benelux CEO Bas Huysmans: "Completing our product range with Weber Cemfloor® creates a broader and more comprehensive flooring offer, allowing us to better serve both the flooring and renovation needs of our existing and potential customers in the construction sector."   Chryso, which has been part of Saint-Gobain Building Materials since 2021 and manufactures and distributes innovative admixtures for concrete to provide better-performing and lower-CO2 concrete mix designs, is strengthening its presence in the Netherlands.   Saint-Gobain Building Materials Benelux General Manager Marc Alfonseda commented: "Our local presence will enable us to be closer to the market and provide highly responsive technical support to our customers.
