ELİTA GIDA FOCUSES ON GLOBAL BUSINESS COLLABORATIONS AT SIAL PARIS 2026

Elita Gıda participated in SIAL Paris 2026, one of the world's leading food fairs, with its Sunar, Sunar Profesyonel and Elita brands. The company, which holds a leading position in Türkiye in corn oil production and exports, showcased its product portfolio tailored to the needs of different markets to international industry representatives, leveraging its multi-seed processing capability and integrated production infrastructure. Elita Gıda General Manager Mustafa Çoban stated that the fair is an important platform for strengthening existing business partnerships and evaluating new business opportunities.
Bringing together corn and sunflower oil products with international industry representatives, Elita Gıda introduced product and packaging options tailored to different markets during the fair. Operating with a production infrastructure consisting of two crushing facilities, two refineries and one filling plant, the company offers refined and bottled products for the consumer market as well as crude oil solutions for its industrial customers.
Throughout the fair, Elita Gıda focused on developing relationships with its existing business partners and evaluating new collaboration opportunities, while also addressing developments in the global vegetable oil market and changing customer expectations.
“Reliable supply and accurate planning are the foundation of long-term business collaborations”
Evaluating the fair following SIAL Paris 2026, Elita Gıda General Manager Mustafa Çoban noted that changing expectations in international markets have made production capability and supply planning even more important, stating the following:
“Competition in international markets is shaped not only by product quality and price, but also by supply continuity, flexibility and accurate planning. At SIAL Paris, we had the opportunity to establish direct contact with our customers, assess the needs of different markets and discuss new collaboration opportunities. Thanks to our multi-seed processing capability, our facility infrastructure covering different production stages, and our broad product portfolio, we are able to offer solutions to different customer groups. Our goal is to continue being a reliable and long-term business partner for our customers while adapting to changing market conditions.”
Global developments are reshaping vegetable oil supply
The Russia-Ukraine War and regional developments continue to impact raw material supply, prices and product availability in the vegetable oil sector. Fluctuations in the sunflower oil market in particular are increasing the importance of planning in production and shipment processes. Developments in export markets such as the Middle East, Gulf countries and Africa also require companies to adapt to different customer needs and changing market conditions.
With a production infrastructure capable of processing different seeds, Elita Gıda offers solutions for various needs in the corn and sunflower oil categories. While the company serves the consumer market with refined oil and bottled products, it provides industrial customers with different product options, including crude oil. Supporting its product diversity with various packaging options, Elita Gıda plans order quantities and delivery schedules in line with customer demands.
“We started our preparations for 2027 early”
Emphasizing that seasonal demand changes are also decisive in planning for the upcoming period, Mustafa Çoban stated that they have started their preparations for 2027 early:
“In Türkiye, vegetable oil sales increase significantly before Ramadan. The fact that Ramadan will coincide with February in 2027 requires product shipments to be moved to earlier dates. This makes December a critical period in terms of sales and shipment planning. We are therefore focusing on initiating communication with our customers early to clarify order quantities and delivery schedules, and planning our production and shipment processes accordingly.”
