Solvay Named "Supplier of the Year"

Solvay has received The Boeing Company's "Supplier of the Year" award. Solvay, along with nine other companies, was recognized for outstanding performance while working with the aerospace company. This year's award recipients represent an elite group selected from more than 13,000 active Boeing suppliers across 48 countries worldwide. The selection was based on rigorous performance criteria including quality performance, delivery performance, cost, environmental initiatives, customer service and technical expertise. Carmelo LoFaro, Head of Solvay Materials Segment, made the following comments on the matter: "Solvay and Boeing have been collaborating for over 50 years to solve complex problems through technical innovation, unconventional supply chain solutions and commitment to shared core values.
