The "Snacking Made Right" report, published annually, contains innovative solutions developed by the company toward sustainable growth targets, work aimed at reducing environmental impact, and sector-wide transformation initiatives.
Significant milestone in cocoa sourcing
Mondelēz International announced that as of 2025, approximately 100% of the cocoa volume used in its chocolate business is sourced through the Cocoa Life sustainable cocoa program. The company continues to work with more than 257,000 farmers to support sustainable farming practices and resilient communities.
Mondelēz International is also among the founding members of the TogetherCocoa Foundation, which operates in collaboration with governments and industry stakeholders to support systemic transformation in the cocoa sector.

Dirk Van de Put, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mondelēz International, stated in his assessment of the report that sustainable growth is central to company strategy, describing sustainability as an integral part of daily business operations.
Christine Montenegro McGrath, Senior Vice President and Chief Impact & Sustainability Officer of Mondelēz International, highlighted the importance of scalable impact in sustainability efforts, saying that innovation and large-scale impact creation are at the core of the company's sustainability approach.

Progress on climate targets
The company announced approximately 60% progress toward its goal of reducing end-to-end greenhouse gas emissions by 35% by 2030 compared to the 2018 baseline year. In priority regions, absolute water consumption decreased by approximately 18%, exceeding the 2025 target.
Circular economy and packaging focus
Mondelēz International continues to increase the use of recycled plastic as part of its goal to create a more circular economy for plastic. In this context, the company has begun using packaging with recycled content in Cadbury products in Australia. The company also announced approximately 75% progress toward its 2030 recycled plastic content target.
The company continues its work in the 100+ Accelerator program, which aims to scale environmental solutions and supports sustainable initiatives.
