Another Sustainability Award for Abdi İbrahim

Abdi İbrahim has added new awards to its sustainability accolades. Operating with the goal of improving lives, Abdi İbrahim continues to win awards for its work in sustainability. At the Istanbul Marketing Awards, organized by taking into account the marketing processes of institutions and brands in the Turkish business world and consisting of 4 main categories, Abdi İbrahim's 5th Sustainability Report covering the 2019-2020 period won the gold award in the Corporate Reports category this year.

Journey of Improvement: From Past to Future

At the Sustainable Development Goals Awards organized by the Turkish Corporate Social Responsibility Association, Abdi İbrahim was deemed worthy of the silver award with its "Istanbul Esenyurt Production Complex - Renewable Energy" project. Abdi İbrahim's Sustainability Report, which was structured in light of GRI standards, the European Green Deal and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as sustainability work including Prioritization Analysis and Organizational Life Cycle Analysis (O-LCA) conducted with stakeholder participation, had 9 strategic themes identified under the headings "past" and "future" for its design. The message "Journey of Improvement: From Past to Future" was visualized through collages featuring these 9 themes. Visual references related to Abdi İbrahim's past, present and future vision presented collages carrying traces of the past, framed with the visual language of today's digital world. The illustrations used in the report were designed by renowned collage artist Selman Hoşgör. The illustrations shaped by the sustainability theme were used on the report's cover and separator pages. The photographs of Abdi İbrahim's facilities and headquarters featured in the report were taken by renowned architectural photographer Cemal Emden.
