Plastic Waste Becomes Toy Museum Ticket

Under the slogan "It's good to get dirty for good," OMO created an unconventional installation using sorted plastic waste to raise awareness about recycling, inspired by drawings made by children on School's Out Day. The brand, calling on the idea that "children's dreams of a clean planet through recycling should not remain only in pictures," prepared the work in collaboration with artist Şevval Konyalı. Following exhibitions at Kadıköy, Taksim and Gayrettepe metro stations, the installation opened at Istanbul Toy Museum on 4 February. On 12, 13, 19 and 20 February, children aged 0-15 can use plastic waste they bring as an entrance ticket and visit the museum free of charge. OMO, one of Turkey's most beloved laundry care brands, will display the installation made entirely from sorted plastic waste at Istanbul Toy Museum for one month. Bearing the signature of artist Şevval Konyalı, the work draws inspiration from the vision of "a clean future through recycling" drawn by children on School's Out Day, giving new life to 900 plastic bottles and symbolizing life flourishing on a clean world. The installation will be on display at Istanbul Toy Museum between 4 February and 4 March.

Free Admission for Children Bringing Plastic Waste

Excluding school trips and group events, children aged 0-15 visiting individually with their families can enter the museum free of charge on 12-13 February and 19-20 February by bringing one piece of plastic waste to these waste units. With the message "It's good to get dirty for good," OMO calls both adults and children to action for the planet's wellbeing and will also place a recyclable waste unit in the museum garden for one month to raise awareness about recycling at Istanbul Toy Museum.
