Sanisure Acquires MED
Sanisure, a leading firm in single-use bioprocessing technology, announced the acquisition of Medical Elastomer Development, Inc. ("MED"), a silicone extrusion facility, from Q Holding, the portfolio company of 3i. The state-of-the-art facility located in Twinsburg, Ohio serves numerous customers among industry leaders in both medical devices and bioprocessing markets.
With vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly operations in North America and Europe, Sanisure provides its customers with a broad range of products on a global basis. Sanisure offers Mixed4Sure™ closed-system carboy mixing systems, Cap2v8® solutions, PharmaTainer™ bottles and carboys, aSURE® connectors, Bio-Ease™ tubing clamps, Gamma Mixing Rods and an expanded range of silicone extrusion and carboy products as well as solutions in other elastomeric areas such as Cellgyn® TPE, TPFE, and Kynar tubing.
