Countdown Begins for Watsons Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Summit

Watsons Türkiye will hold the second edition of its Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Summit in collaboration with Eskişehir Technical University on 22-23 October in Eskişehir.

The Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Summit, to be held on 22–23 October at Eskişehir Technical University's İki Eylül Campus in collaboration with Watsons Türkiye and Eskişehir Technical University, will be held free of charge again this year. The summit, which requires pre-registration and is open to participation with limited capacity, will give attendees the opportunity to follow current developments in the field of sustainability and draw inspiration from the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Watsons Türkiye, the first brand in Turkey's beauty and personal care sector to make sustainability part of its business model, will bring together experts in the field of sustainability, academics and sector professionals at the summit it will organize. Throughout the summit, speakers from different sectors and inspiring presenters will share their solution proposals for a sustainable future and their entrepreneurship visions.

Watsons Türkiye draws inspiration from the "Partnerships for the Goals" principle, which is among the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with its strong ecosystem. Within this scope, with the sponsorship of brands such as L'Oréal Paris, Nivea, P&G, Sensodyne and Unilever; the summit, which will take place with the participation of civil society organizations, academics and young people, aims to bring together different stakeholders to create a common impact.

First steps toward the summit through online training
Watsons Türkiye launched a comprehensive online training program ahead of the Watsons Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Summit, to be held on 22-23 October in collaboration with Eskişehir Technical University.

The program, which runs for five weeks, offers broad content ranging from introduction to sustainability to circular economy, from social sustainability to innovative R&D, with the academic support of Eskişehir Technical University. Participants who show at least 70% attendance in online sessions and achieve over 70% success in the examination to be conducted after the trainings will receive digital certificates; those who wish to receive their certificates in physical form will be presented with their certificates on stage during the ceremony at the end of the two-day summit.
