BARUM Attracts Strong Interest at Turkchem Fair

Great Interest in BARUM at Turkchem Fair Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center (BARUM) attracted significant attention at the 9th International Chemistry Fair (TURKCHEM) held at Istanbul Fair Center. BARUM Director Assoc. Prof. Rafig Gurbanov, Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Şenay Balbay and BARUM academic staff members Instructor Fatih Tozoğlu, Instructor Büşra Şensoy Gün and Vocational School Biomedical Device Technology Program Instructor Abdülkadir Aydoğan participated in the fair, which hosted 490 domestic and foreign companies. Additionally, doctoral and master's students from various departments of the university provided support. During the three-day exhibition, bilateral meetings were held at the booth regarding analyses and project requests that companies needed for customer complaints, supplier audits and production problems, and company representatives were hosted. While a significant number of manufacturing companies stated they would receive support from BARUM in terms of quality and standardization of their products, discussions began with some companies for cooperation. In this context, the participation in the TURKCHEM fair organization demonstrated both the visionary identity of the university and BARUM, and increased recognition particularly among companies operating in the chemical industry.   Artkim Exhibition Services entered the exhibition sector with Turkchem Chem Show Eurasia, its first fair in 2006, starting out to serve only the chemistry sector, and has brought a total of 12 different sector fairs to the industry from 2006 to present.
