Aramco's new deal supports the company's efforts toward diversified energy sources. Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL), a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm in India, has secured three contracts worth $906.6 million with Aramco to expand the gas supply network in Saudi Arabia. These contracts cover three separate components of the third expansion phase of the Master Gas System Network (MGS‐3) in Saudi Arabia. The contract involves laying over 800 km of lateral gas pipeline. KPIL is a specialized EPC firm engaged in power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and irrigation, railways, oil and gas pipelines, flyovers and metro rail, highways, and airports. The company executes projects in approximately 30 countries and maintains a global presence in over 70 countries. The $10 billion MGS phase three project will involve converting several power plants from oil to natural gas. This expansion will enable Aramco to meet Saudi Arabia's growing energy demand and reduce liquid fuel consumption, supporting Saudi Arabia's efforts toward a diversified energy mix. Source
