BeautyEurasia Fair Postponed to 16-18 June 2021 Cosmetics sector's 16th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hairdressing Fair – BeautyEurasia Fair, which sets trends in the sector and brings the latest products together with domestic and foreign visitors, serving as Turkey's cosmetics sector's gateway to the world, has been rescheduled due to the global Covid-19 agenda. BeautyEurasia, Eurasia's largest cosmetics fair, postponed its date following the announcement made by the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey on 13 March 2020 regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. The previously updated date of 24-27 November 2020 has now been set as 16-18 June 2021, following discussions conducted by Hyve Group with its business partners and a broad range of participants, visitors and stakeholders. Over the past two months, BeautyEurasia has maintained intensive contact with all key stakeholders both within Turkey's borders and internationally. During this period, it was once again confirmed that organizing a productive and successful fair for all parties under the current conditions of Turkey and the world at the right time and under the healthiest conditions is of critical importance.

"Our Priority: Health, Productivity and Benefit"

Kemal Ülgen, Regional Director of Hyve Group, the global exhibition company organizing BeautyEurasia, emphasized that organizing a healthy and productive fair for all stakeholders, particularly participants and visitors, is a fundamental priority. Ülgen continued: "The pandemic is being managed successfully in our country and significant steps are being taken gradually on the path to normalization. However, the global fight against the Covid-19 pandemic continues at full pace. By postponing BeautyEurasia, Turkey's cosmetics sector's gateway to Eurasia and the world, to 24-27 November 2020, we adopted a health and hygiene approach first and foremost for all our stakeholders and of course our staff. Human health was our first priority yesterday, is today, and will be tomorrow. Our other priorities are that all parties have a successful, productive and beneficial fair experience. As a result of intensive contacts with all parties, we evaluated requests for changing the date of BeautyEurasia Fair and saw that a further date change would be beneficial. Our fair will be held on 16-18 June 2021. We will continue to inform our participants and the public about developments in our sector and brand at local and global levels. BeautyEurasia, organized by Hyve Group with the support of the Ministry of Commerce, will continue to create new business, partnership and purchasing opportunities for Turkey through its strong regional network."

Fair Hosted 11,786 Visitors in 2019

The fair provides a productive platform filled with events for discussing and exchanging information on the sector's global and regional development areas, as well as promoting new ideas and products. In 2019, the fair hosted 367 participating companies from 33 countries and 11,786 visitors from 130 countries, increasing the number of international visitors by 51% compared to 2018. In 2021, these figures are expected to increase depending on developments in domestic and foreign market dynamics.
